How To Unlock The Secret To Unlimited Energy

The secret of unlimited energy for your automobile is to keep the fuel tank full. That's not really unlimited though, is it? You have to keep filling the tank when the fuel gets low.

That's pretty much how it is with the human body. When your energy is flagging, you have to fill your tank.

With your automobile, you have a choice of fuels. You may opt to fill the tank with unleaded regular octane gasoline, or you may select a higher octane fuel in order to get superior performance out of your vehicle.

The only problem is that your vehicle must be in good condition, and equipped and tuned to work better with the more expensive fuel, or your expenditure is for naught.

It's the same with the human body. If you are a couch potato, what good would high energy foods do you?

By the same token, if you are a competitive athlete, would you perform your best on unleaded regular fuel? Of course not, you need the high performance stuff.

Fats - should provide 20-30 % of our calories as a source of energy and to aid metabolism.

Carbohydrates and Fiber - should constitute 40+ % of our calories to supply energy and digestion. Fresh fruits and vegetables, not refined sugars and starches, should provide our carbohydrate intake.

Supplements (the key to unlock the secret) - We should supplement our diet with natural sources of: Unrefined carbohydrates (no sugar or flour) derived from vegetables and fruits, protein (powders and tablets), soluble oils (olive, wheat germ and walnut oils) and amino acids!

If carbohydrates and fats supply our energy, why the protein and amino acid supplements? Because as you exercise and expend energy, you are tearing down muscle tissue. This will will you gain muscle mass when your body recovers.

Protein and amino acids (the building blocks of proteins) suppress that tearing down of your muscles, giving them more strength and endurance so you utilize your stored energy better.

Proper diet and supplements are the key to unlimited energy.
